This Ithaca, NY homeowner contacted Halco because he and his wife were interested in adding central air conditioning to their home. In speaking with a Halco home energy advisor during their no-cost assessment, their interest expanded from adding AC to replacing their 28-year-old furnace, installing a tankless water heater, and encapsulating their crawl space. This before and after shows the crawl space portion of the project. After 30 years, these homeowners now have a clean, bright, dry, and odor-free crawlspace!
Sump pumps move accumulated water in a basin or pit and then push it outside or to a drainage area outdoors. The pit or tank is located below the surface at the lowest part of your home, typically in a basement or crawl space. The pump features valves that sense rising water levels or pressure.
In a Google review, the customer stated, "From consultation to installation, work on our basement project went smoothly. Everyone at Halco was easy to contact for questions, a pleasure to work with, and we’re well pleased with another good Halco experience."
