Taz Petersen, our System Design Specialist, quickly came up with a solution that would best suit this family's basement. Kryz Wilk and his team came out, and got ready to take on the task at hand. They first installed WaterGuard around the perimeter of the basement, which paired wonderfully with our SuperSump. These two products work together to create a first class drainage system for any basements. We also encapsulated the entire space with our bright and durable Cleanspace Wall System. This not only makes your space look brighter and cleaner, it also works to keep vapor and moisture out of the basement!

In this Pawcatuck house, heavy rains always resulted in water in the basement much to the homeowners' dismay. At first, the homeowners bought two off-the-shelf sump pumps but when that didn't solve the problem effectively, they decided to call the experts at CT Basement Systems. We installed our WaterGuard French Drain System, which collects leaking water from the walls, features an anti-clog design, is installed out of the "mud zone" and includes a written lifetime warranty.

Once any leaking or seeping water is collected by the drainage system, it now automatically drains into the TripleSafe Sump Pump System, our premier sump pump solution. The TripleSafe, like the name implies, has three pumps. The first pump does the initial pumping when there is any water in the basement; if there is too much water for the first pump to handle, then the second pump kicks in. If the power goes out (it does happen!), the battery-powered third pump turns on and is able to pump enough water to fill half a swimming pool!

Then, one of our Foreman, Joe Schech and his team installed a WaterGuard drainage system around the basement perimeter and added a half wall of our CleanSpace vapor barrier on the walls. They also set up a TripleSafe sump pump, featuring a primary pump, a secondary pump, and a battery backup that can handle up to 11,500 gallons of water.

With these upgrades, the basement is now fully protected from flooding, giving the homeowner a dry, worry-free space.

The old support posts in this crawl space were sinking, causing the floor above them to sag. To prevent any structural issues in the future, including wall cracks and unsafe floors, we installed SmartJacks. SmartJacks are a permant solution to the sagging floors, and can be ajusted to push the floor back up to the exact position it was originally. The owners of this home can rest easy knowing that their home is well-supported.

A Pelham, NY homeowner had a damp crawlspace that they wanted encapsulated. They called us at Connecticut Basement Systems to find a solution. One of our sales consultants, Tim Kane went to the home to assess the crawlspace and propose our encapsulation solution.

Then, it would be time for one of our Foremen, Moises, and his crew to install this job. They installed our CleanSpace vapor barrier throughout the entire crawlspace to protect it from water and moisture. They also installed our SmartPump to eliminate the water that may enter the crawlspace. As another layer of protection, they installed our Sedona dehumidifier to eliminate, moisture and prevent mold growth.
