Homeowners in Bear, Delaware, reached out to us at Basement Systems USA, they were dealing with persistent backyard flooding after heavy rains. Upon arrival, we conducted a comprehensive assessment of the landscape and drainage patterns around the property. It became evident that a customized Lawnscape system was the most effective solution to redirect the water away from the backyard and prevent future flooding.
Our team installed a Lawnscape system specifically designed to integrate seamlessly with the natural contours of the yard, effectively channeling water away from the home’s foundation. This system not only helped manage the water flow but also blended well with the existing landscape, maintaining the yard’s aesthetic appeal. After the installation, the homeowners were delighted with how the solution worked.
This customer was in the process of finishing his basement, but when a recent storm hit, it brought water in to the basement and put a halt on his current project. We came out and assessed the basement and our waterproof solution consisted of an installation of our Waterguard XL, 4 Trench Drains, 2 Well Ducts, partial CleanSpace and our TripleSafe Sump Pump. Now this customer can confidently finish his basement, knowing he is protected from many rain storms to come.
This basement waterproofing job consisted of Waterguard and a SuperSump Pump for the interior portion of the basement and for the exterior we installed a trench drain that lead over to and disharged into the storm drain of the business.
This old sump pump was not up to par, so we installed a TripleSafe Sump System complete with two AC power pumps and a battery back-up pump. This system is capable of pumping over 6000 gallon per hour. The most powerful residential sump system on the market.
When the homeowners in Exton, PA, reached out to Basement Systems USA, they were dealing with a problem common to many older homes: a rusted-out basement window. After years of exposure to the elements, the metal frame had corroded, allowing drafts and moisture to seep into their basement. The homeowners were interested in replacing it with something similar but more durable.
Upon inspection, we recommended our EverLast basement window. Not only is it resistant to rust and moisture, but it also provides better insulation, helping to protect the home from weather changes. Our team carefully removed the old, rusted window and expertly installed the EverLast replacement. The transformation was immediate – the new window brightened up the basement, giving it a fresh look while also improving energy efficiency.
The homeowners were thrilled with the result, noting how much better the basement looked and felt with the upgrade.
