This customer was looking to upgrade their old and outdated sump pump to our new SuperSump.
In Philadelphia, PA, we were called to assist a homeowner experiencing basement water issues. Initially, the basement was prone to water intrusion on the unfinished side, leading to significant dampness. The homeowner removed a portion of the drywall to get a better look, and our team then conducted a thorough inspection.
After evaluating the space, we installed the WaterGuard drainage system along the basement perimeter. Unlike traditional exterior drains, the WaterGuard is placed above the footing, reducing the chance of clogging and ensuring consistent drainage. We also included a TripleSafe sump pump, which handles high volumes of water and includes backup pumps for added reliability. To complement these solutions, we added a CleanSpace vapor barrier on the walls, which stops moisture from entering the basement and channels it into the drainage system. With these installations, the basement transformed from a water-prone space to a dry, protected environment. This effective combination now shields the homeowner’s basement from moisture, keeping it safe and dry in the long term.
This basement had a lot of obstacles and a low ceiling. But we can still make it look nice. With size doors, painted ceiling, and insulated thermal flooring, we can transform a basement into a beautiful dry and useable space.
Customer hired another contractor to install an egress, but it went all wrong. We stepped in and repaired the the work and installed a code approved egress window system.
