When we first visited this Wilmington, Delaware home, it was clear the basement and crawl space had endured years of moisture issues. The crawl space would flood during heavy rains, leaving behind dampness and musty odors that affected the whole house. In the basement, the walls were beginning to show signs of strain, with visible cracks from the pressure of the surrounding soil. The homeowner had already installed a sump pump, but it wasn’t able to keep up with the persistent water intrusion. Mold had even started to form on the walls, adding to their concerns about air quality and the long-term health of the structure.
To tackle these issues comprehensively, we installed a CleanSpace encapsulation system in the crawl space, creating a strong, durable barrier that prevents outside moisture from getting in. The SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier was also installed to regulate humidity levels and keep the air dry, which is essential for preventing future mold growth. For the mold that was already present, we applied our specialized Mold-X treatment to ensure a clean and healthy environment.
In the basement, we reinforced the walls with CarbonArmor wall straps. These high-strength, carbon fiber straps are designed to prevent any further cracking or bowing, adding much-needed stability to the foundation walls. With the walls secured, the homeowner could feel confident that their basement would stay protected against pressure from outside soil and moisture.
By the end of the project, the homeowner felt a huge sense of relief, knowing their basement and crawl space were finally dry, clean, and stable. The difference was night and day—the basement felt secure, and the crawl space was transformed into a cleaner, healthier area. This project gave them a renewed peace of mind and confidence that their home was protected for years to come.

After evaluating the crawlspace it was clear that there was indeed an on going issue with water intrusion. Our solution to this problem was to install Smart Pipe perimeter crawlspace drainage system, a Clean Space Vapor Barrier and a Smart Sump with Floor Alarm.
We were reached out to by the buyers of this of this property, while going through home inspections, one of the inspectors had pointed out that the pillars were not stable enough to support the house and they would need to be assessed as soon as possible.
We came out to the property to find the current support system made up of cinder blocks and 2 x 6s and we knew immediately our Smart Jack System was needed for this crawlspace.
We came out and installed 1 Supplemental Steel Beam with 2 Smart Jacks. SmartJack is a high- capacity adjustable steel pier that is designed to stop settling and can even raise your floor back to where it was.
