FlexiSpan® System Used to Repair Crack in Eau Claire, WI Basement
An Eau Claire, WI homeowner contacted us after discovering a leak in the home's finished basement. After removing drywall, the owner discovered a 4-5ft crack in the foundation wall that was allowing water to leak into the home, causing damage to the wall and floor, as evidenced in the before photo.
DBS Design Specialist Rich Johnsen visited the home to provide a free, no-obligation estimate. It was determined that the foundation wall did not need extensive support. Instead, and his crew installed a FlexiSpan® Basement Wall Crack System. FlexiSpan® seals the crack with a tough, yet flexible polyurethane, and then is covered with another layer of leak protecting material.
The homeowners were happy with the work done and can now have a flexible, long-lasting solution for their basement.

This system uses heavy-duty anchors in the soil connected with long galvanized rods to plates on the wall. These anchors are tightened to straighten the wall over time and provide maximum support.
