A homeowner in Hovland, MN reached out to DBS regarding the crawl space of their home. The area was old and dirty, and also prone to moisture. This was concerning for the owner, as it can cause damage and raise health issues.

A DBS Design Specialist visited the home and provided a free, no-obligation estimate for the crawl space encapsulation service. It was determined that the crawl space would need to have CleanSpace® installed to act as a vapor barrier for the area. This was concerning for the owner, as it can cause damage to the home and foundation as well as raise health issues.

It was determined that the crawl space would have CleanSpace® installed to act as a vapor barrier for the area. The DBS Foreman and crew laid the vapor barrier throughout the space to prevent the spread of moisture, and also added TerraBlock™ insulation to the space. Finally, a SaniDry™ dehumidifier will curb moisture levels due to temperature fluctuation in the space. 

The homeowners were happy with the work done and now a clean and dry crawl space. 

DBS received a call from a client in in Holyoke that needed their crawl space looked at for a foundation issue. We sent Design Specialist, Henrick Makitalo, to the home to see what the problem was. Henrik saw that the home needed our spray foam service in their crawl space around the walls of the home. This spray foam insulation in the crawl space, vents, and installation of a new crawl space door to correct the insulation and prevent cold air from coming up and into the house.
