This homeowner had a list of items that DBS was helping fix. One of the main items was to replace an old, rotting support beam and replace it with our patented SmartJack XL. Our installation crew headed by Forman, Kevin Steffy, were able to secure the weight of the house using a new and improved support called our SmartJack XL. The customer was pleased to know that his home was safe and secure after the install! 

This Duluth, MN customer called DBS wanting an estimate on stabilizing their foundation walls. Our specialist, Royce Bunn, visited this home and was able to provide a quailty solution to permanently stabilize the basement foundation walls. The use of our PowerBrace system would ensure these foundation walls would straighten over time.

A homeowner in Duluth, MN reached out to DBS regarding an upgrade for their home insulation, particularly in a knee wall section. Previously, the area was insulated with standard fiberglass wool insulation, which was causing some issues for the home in regards to saving energy. Fortunately, DBS was able to send out a crew to install SilverGlo™ insulation panels for the knee wall area. A homeowner in Duluth, MN was experiencing structural issues with their crawl space. Failing crawl space support can eventually lead to sagging floors in the main area of a home, and cause bigger problems over time. In need of a solution to this, the owner reached out to DBS. After a thorough inspection, it was determined that the crawl space would need to have several SmartJack® units installed within the crawl space to provide that added support. The SmartJack® is an ideal product for crawl space stabilization as it can support loads of over 60,000 lbs. The results turned out great, and the homeowner can now be more comfortable with a reinforced crawl space area.

Design Specialist Royce Bunn visited the home, assessed the problem, and created a solution for the unwanted water and failing walls. WaterGuard® and our TripleSafe™ Sump Pump were recommended to make sure the basement stays dry all year long. To permanently stabilize the walls our PowerBrace™ Wall Bracing System was installed along the perimeter of the basement. Foreman Kevin Steffey and his crew successfully installed the products.
