This basement had become wet due to an ineffective drainage system in the home. The walls were also cracked and bowing which was allowing water to enter the home. These photos show an in-progress shot of our products being installed including our CleanSpace wall liner, drain tile, and GeoLock Earth Anchors which permanently stabilize the wall and help to straighten it over time. 

A homeowner in Hibbing, MN regarding their crawlspace foundation. It had a bowing wooden foundation, and they were worried that the issue would worsen once winter hits. DBS was able to stabilize the wall by installing GeoLock® Wall Anchors, as shown in the picture. These are steel anchors that get embedded into the undisturbed soil on the exterior part of the wall and are attached to the interior portion of the wall to help straighten it out.

A buyer was looking into purchasing this property in Hibbing, MN for investment purposes, but they noticed that the foundation walls had some issues. Looking for a solution in hopes of being able to fix up the property, they reached out to DBS for a solution.

A DBS Foreman led the installation for this project. The crew installed 8 PowerBrace™ I-beams. The I-beams have adjustable brackets affixed at the top that allows them to be tightened over time in an attempt to straighten the wall, but the PowerBrace™ Wall Bracing System guarantees that no further bowing or cracking in the walls will occur. Upon completion of the project, the home has been permanently stabilized and increased the overall value of the property for the buyer.

PowerBrace™ I-beams are installed with steel brackets at the top that allows for tightening during dry periods in order to attempt to straighten the wall. The PowerBrace™ Wall Bracing System guarantees that the wall will not bow or crack any further.
