A Dr. Energy Saver Design Specialist provided a free, no-obligation estimate for the encapsulation work. The crawl space first had drainage matting laid on the dirt floors of the space. From there, the DBS foreman and production team installed CleanSpace® vapor barrier to protect the space from moisture. SilverGlo™ insulation was also installed sealing the space from cold air during cold winter months.
This crawl space is now completely sealed, regulating temperature, and moisture levels for the entire home.

After inspecting the home and performing infrared heat measuring tests it was concluded that the walls did not have proper insulation. DBS has a solution called dense-packed insulation which does not require drywall removal and dramatically increases the efficiency of the home. Small 1-inch ports are cut into the home and Tru-Soft™ cellulose insulation is applied inside the walls. After the insulation is installed the holes are covered with siding and are completely hidden! This home was repaired by DBS Foreman Orrin Sundberg and his production crew.
