Foreman Evan LaFontaine led the installation of the project with assistance from a team. Together they installed drainage matting in the crawl space to help with water flow underneath the layers of insulation. Then they laid down panels of TerraBlock™ foam insulation to protect the area against frost build-up. Finally, they sealed off the ground with the CleanSpace® vapor barrier. On the walls, the crew installed panels of SilverGlo™ rigid foam insulation and air sealed in between the panels with ZypFoam™. To finalize the project, the crew sprayed waterproof polyurethane foam insulation into the rim joists to air seal the crawl space.

Now that the crawl space has been thoroughly insulated, the homeowner will experience warmer floors and lower heating bills. They can relax comfortably knowing that their crawl space will stay drier and promote healthy living conditions.
