This home in Duluth, MN was suffering from water intrusion in the basement. The owner wanted to find a solution that would permanently fix the problem, so they reached out to DBS for help.

Design Specialist Tony Geerdes went out to the home to assist the owner with a free, no-obligation estimate. After a close inspection, a quote was provided for our Basement Waterproofing Services and Tony explained the products and process to the homeowner.

Foreman Zach Royer led the installation of this project with help from a crew. The team created trenches around the perimeter of the basement and placed our WaterGuard® drain lines within. These drain lines are able to collect water intrusion from the floor joists and walls of the home. The water is then transported to the sump pump and removed from the home. Finally, the drain lines are covered with concrete for a flush look.

This homeowner can now relax knowing their home is healthy and safe, thanks to DBS.

This homeowner reached out to DBS after expressing concerns about mold in their basement and was seeking an overall, more energy-efficient home. Desiring reduced moisture levels, our Design Specialist took note of these wants and suggested that we install our SaniDry® dehumidifier and insulate the basement rim joist to secure the dryness while also saving energy for their home.

The job progressed successfully with the installation of spray foam to the rim joist after the demolition of sections of the wall. Once the SaniDry® was installed, the customer was happy with the work that was completed!
