This homeowner was experiencing flooding in the window during heavy rain. The water began to leak through the inside walls of the basement due to the buildup from the outside. We removed the old window well and installed our SunHouse Window Well, which is made up of durable, strong plastic that won't rust even over time. This customer also added the feature of a clear plastic cover, which will keep out any debris, rain and snow. By having the SunHouse installation, the basement transforms to a cleaner, brighter space.
At this residence, the homeowner wanted to install a bigger window well and turn an existing window into a walk-out from the finished basement. Our team went out and excavated the property where we would install our Egress Stairwell. Once the ground soil was excavated, the cement blocks were ready to be laid, creating a new, open look for the home. By having an Egress Stairwell, not only does it provide a safer way in and out of the home in case of emergencies, but it also creates more natural light, making your basement bigger and brighter.
Recently a homeowner in Wilmington, PA, began noticing that their crawl space was becoming increasingly damp due to persistent water seepage from heavy rainfall. Concerned about the long-term effects of moisture, including potential mold growth and structural damage, they contacted Quality 1st for a permanent solution.
Our team quickly assessed the situation and implemented an tailored waterproofing plan by installing our patented SilverGlo Insulation Panels, which provide superior thermal insulation and moisture resistance, and our high-performance SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier, which efficiently removes excess humidity from the air.
With these systems in place, the crawl space was transformed into a dry, healthy environment, free from moisture. The homeowner was thrilled with the results, enjoying a clean, well-protected crawl space and a renewed sense of pride in their home!
Customer had an unfinished basement that she was looking to fully finish in the near future. Her first step for the finishing project was to install an Egress window. The customer had several basement windows, but if there were ever an emergency and a fast escape through the basement was needed, there was nowhere to go. This is where we came in, we came out and installed a 48 x 48 Slider Egress window with a RockWell which has a stone look and is UV Stable, rust and rot proof and can stand up to extreme temperatures.
