After Hurricane Ida, water was easily seeping into the basement of this home in Doylestown, PA. The homeowner searched the Internet for permanent solutions and came across Quality 1st Basement Systems. System Design Specialist, Mike P., provided a thorough inspection of the basement and recommended the WaterGuard French Drain and TripleSafe Sump Pump as the best solution. Since the installation, the homeowner has not experienced any other water issues in their basement.
This homeowner in Philadelphia, PA had partially finished the basement but had since had it ripped out due to water damage and humidity issues, and was looking into Total Basement Finishing. The team gutted the entire basement, then hauled away the debris in order to install our EverLast Wall System, which is most susceptible to mold and moisture damage. We then installed our ThermalDry Elite Plank Flooring, which is a completely inorganic material that insulates the basement floor, keeping it as much as 10 degrees warmer. With this basement install, our system will seamlessly work together, creating a dry and finished space.
This customer was looking to upgrade their old and outdated sump pump to our new SuperSump.
In this basement, the walls began to leak into the home, which then caused moisture in the area. Our team went out to the home, dug a trench around the floor of the foundation to install our WaterGuard sub-floor drain that will capture any moisture or water leaks down into the drain and carry it to the sump system. Then we installed our CleanSpace vapor barrier that will capture the leaky walls' moisture down into the sub-floor drain. These products will help reduce moisture and prevent any water leaks from coming into the basement.
At this home, rainwater would collect at the opening of the garage and had no place to go. We installed our XL TrenchDrain system that will capture the water coming down the driveway and flow it into the WaterGuard sub-floor system. The drainage system is then connected to the sump pump, which will safely pump away unwanted water.
