WaterGuard, WaterGuard port, SuperSump, UltraSump, and TripleSafe were installed at a residence in Trenton, NJ. Additionally, LawnScape, IceGuard, and WellDucts were also put in place.

To begin annual maintenance on this Trenton homeowner's TripleSafe Sump Pump, Service Technician Jerry opens the airtight liner lid which has been developed to keep debris out of the sump pump pit. Once opened, Jerry proceeded to remove the primary cast-iron Zoeller pump along with the UltraSump Battery Backup Sump Pump and clean all of the components of these hard-working pumps, ensuring that their function remains in tip-top operating shape. Additionally, the liner is cleaned and sanitized before the sump pump system is reassembled as dirt and sediment can make its way into the liner with the ground water. This happens because the soil underneath the the slabs is either too wet, too dry, or poorly compacted causing it to become weak. This soil settles over time and creates voids underneath the slab, which causes the slab to shift and creates a dangerous tripping hazard. The homeowner contacted Quality 1st Basement Systems and our System Design Specialist, Chris Bowe, was able to provide an inspection and suggested they use a polyurethane foam. Our foreman, Sean Johnson, used the PolyLevel Injection System to be injected into the voids under the slab to lift the slab to its original position. Now, residents can safely walk on the sidewalk without the concern of tripping.
