Quality 1st Basement Systems received a call from this homeowner in Wayne, New Jersey to inspect their crawl space. We sent our System Design Specialist, Steve Roldan, to the home and he suggested they seal the crawl space from the earth's elements. A few days later, our foreman arrived at the home and installed our CleanSpace Vapor Barrier System. CleanSpace is a durable liner that is mold-proof and waterproof and will block moisture and humidity from entering the crawl space. A few days later, our foreman installed our WaterGuard French Drain System and our CleanSpace Wall Vapor Barrier System. WaterGuard will collect water that seeps through basement walls and drain it to the sump pump. It rests on top of the foundation footing so it's kept out of the mud zone. Our foreman Ramon used PolyLevel which is done by drilling small, penny-sized holes into the concrete. Ramon will inject the polyurethane foam into the voids underneath to raise them.
