This homeowner from Laurence Harbor, NJ had moisture issues in their crawl space. The musty smell is what eventually pushed them to reach out to a specialist. The goal was to keep the space dry and healthy, so our System Design Specialist, recommended a full vapor barrier system.
The team first installed Drainage Matting on the floor of the crawl space to eliminate any standing water with its textured grooves. Then, CleanSpace was installed to seal the dirt floor, keeping out moisture and water to eliminate the musty odors. Finally, a vent cover was installed on the opening of the crawl space, keeping out harsh temperatures and debris.
The homeowner now has peace of mind that them and their family have a dry and healthy home.
The SaniDry Sedona is a very efficient dehumidifier, removing excess moisture from the room. As it is also an air filtration system, it works hard to filter very small particles out of the air (like mold spores, dust, etc.) Service technician Chris ensured that the drain line was cleared, the drip tray was cleared, and the filters were replaced at this South Amboy residence. Regular maintenance helps keep the system in top-operating shape!
Service Technician Willie recently visited a homeowner in South Amboy, NJ to perform annual maintenance on the SuperSump. This system, capable of removing up to 2,220 gallons of water per hour at an 8 foot head, was disassembled, all components were cleaned, and the check valves were replaced. Lastly, Willie flood tested the system to ensure this wet basement solution continue operating efficiently and effectively!
Wet Freehold basement kept dry using a system called DryTrack, which is specifically designed for homes with monolithic foundations. A monolithic foundation is one where the footing and flooring are poured together, and walls are built on top of the floor. Quality 1st Basement Systems would NEVER recommend jackhammering this type of foundation since it would be very messy and time-consuming. DryTrak is installed above the floor and channels water from the floor/wall joint and walls to the sump pump. This Freehold resident no longer has to worry about a wet basement with this perfect basement waterproofing solution for her home!
Freehold homeowner was experiencing a musty smell coming from her crawl space. A System Design Specialst advised the Quality 1st Basement Systems installation team to install a CleanSpace Encapsulation System and SilverGlo insulation. Together these components create a top-of-the-line crawl space vapor barrier. Tiny particles in the SilverGlo panels reflects heat back into the crawl space for added energy savings!
