A Hoboken, NJ resident contacted Quality 1st Basements to waterproof and encapsulate their crawl space. After seeing many before and after pictures of crawl spaces similar to their, they knew that encapsulation was the answer and that Quality 1st Basements is the crawl space professionals they needed for this solution. 

Our Senior Design Specialist, Ken Peare, did a full inspection of the crawl space area and noticed high humidity and moisture. The walls were damp and a musty odor filled the entire crawl space area. Ken suggested a full encapsulation system to not only keep the crawl space dry but healthy. Protecting this area under your home from water keeps mold from growing. This will improve the quality of air! 

Protecting your basement from water damage is easy when you have a reliable sump pump system installed. We installed our SuperSump Sump Pump System to protect this basement from the occasional water issues they were experiencing from time to time. 

A resident in Hoboken, New Jersey noticed their floors were sagging. Over time, this area had high moisture and humidity that effected the wooden beams inside the crawlspace. The floor joist began to sag causing the first floor to become uneven. 

The homeowner contacted Quality 1st Basement Systems and our System Design Specialist, Laszlo Lenkey, helped them find a solution to this issue. He suggested they use steel support systems to stabilize and level the home. Our foreman, Mario Barron, installed the SmartJack Steel Support System in the crawl space. SmartJacks do not replace the current columns, but they offer additional support to the entire crawl space beam and floor joist.
