Over 8 years ago, when Mr. Serge and his family moved to this house, the plan was to address the crawl space problem. For several reasons, Mr. Serge decided to postpone the work, telling himself that it was not a priority and that the problem would perhaps resolve itself.
8 years later, water infiltration was still present and a smell of humidity is now found on the floors. So it was time to fix the situation once and for all.
Our team went to do a complete appraisal of the property, lasting nearly 2 hours. It is essential for us to properly identify the needs of the situation and to address the concerns of the client. When there is water infiltration and affected air quality, it is important to resolve the situation quickly. That's what we did for one of our clients in Brownsburg-Chatam. Our team recommended a complete solution including the following: an interior drain system installed on the footing of the foundation. This system intercepts water in the soil and foundation and redirects water to a sump pump in the SuperSump liner.
We have eliminated the traces of mold thanks to MoldX which is a product that is a neutralizer.
The walls have been coated with the CleanSpace vapor barrier membrane, which blocks water vapor and redirects it to the drain.
Finally, to keep the humidity level at 55% or lower, we have installed our SaniDry CX dehumidifier and air purifier that keeps the air dry and the environment healthy.
This space can now be conveniently and safely used. We are happy to have been able to carry out this project!
Mr. Stuckey contacted us for a free evaluation to encapsulate his crawl space.
The crawl space was so terrible, all the floors were wet and contaminated water had been accumulating throughout all the year, allowing all the bacteria and mold to grow in the place.
Our specialist Sam went to Howick to give this advice and make this submission.
He recommended the installation of our CleanSpace crawl space waterproofing membrane and the SmartSump pump system to pump all the water out.
This area is finally dry and clean!
PROBLEM
Our client Mr. Grant had wanted to sell his house a while ago. He found that he was not getting exactly the offers he expected. When he received the report that one of the potential clients had made with an inspector, he saw that what most affected the amount was the disturbing state of the crawl space. Indeed, the amount of water that infiltrated on a frequent basis and the materials left with mold cooled many buyers, with a good reason.
SOLUTION
Thanks to our free and complete quote, the customer immediately had their questions answered. He now had a plan of action to finally sell his house, at the desired value. Given the state of the crawl space, our team went there with a SmartSump pump, to keep the crawl space dry. Then we encapsulated the space with our CleanSpace and Drainage Matting. The water can now be redirected to the pump. Homeowners can now enjoy a dry space.
