Basement Waterproofing in Lac-Beauport, Qc

Our client in Lac-Beauport had water infiltration problems in his basement that caused lots of humidity problems in the area. And he thought that by using a household dehumidifier, and fan humidity will be decreased.

Sadly his problem was never solved until he contacted our company for a free inspection.

Following that, our Forman Alexis David installed an interior French drain, the Waterguard that collects the water seeping inside the walls. In addition, a SmartSump pump, that provides all the protection needed from leaks and floods.

Our client was very happy since our company fixed his problems permanently, and he did not have to worry about any water infiltration problems or humidity in his basement again.

In Baie-Saint-Paul, homeowners had to deal with persistent moisture in their basement and water infiltration, causing dampness and potential damage. The “before” photo illustrates how water infiltration into the walls and floors led to an unhealthy environment. At Basement Systems Quebec, we solved these problems with our complete waterproofing system. We installed the WaterGuard drainage system to effectively block water at ground level. We combined it with SilverGlo insulation for better moisture control and energy efficiency and added our TripleSafe sump pump for robust water management and backup power. The transformed basement in the “after” photo highlights the effectiveness of our solutions, which ensure that it remains dry and usable.

Insulating & Encapsulating a Crawl Space in Sainte-Sabine, QC

At this Sainte-Sabine home, the crawl space was dealing with water intrusion and severe fungal growth, with mold climbing 3-4 feet up the wooden beams, as seen in the "before" photo. To eliminate moisture and prevent future damage, our team installed a comprehensive solution featuring CleanSpace, SilverGlo, SmartDrain™, and Mold-X2.

CleanSpace sealed the crawl space with a durable vapor barrier, while SilverGlo provided superior insulation, keeping the space dry and energy-efficient. To prevent plumbing leaks from going unnoticed, we installed SmartDrain™, complete with a built-in alarm for early detection. Finally, we treated the mold-affected areas with Mold-X2 Stain Remover, followed by Mold-X2 Botanical to prevent regrowth.

The "after" photo showcases a dry, insulated, and fungus-free crawl space, ensuring a healthier and safer home. This transformation perfectly reflects our mission: delivering lasting solutions and exceptional customer service!

Moldy beams in Sainte-Sabine, QC

In Sainte-Sabine, a homeowner wrestled with a crawl space filled with moldy beams and constant moisture. At a height of just 3–4 feet, effective encapsulation was crucial. In the "before" photo, you can clearly see the signs of ongoing moisture issues contributing to mold growth and poor air quality.

To begin the transformation, our team applied Mold-X2 to treat and neutralize the mold on wood surfaces, helping restore a healthier environment. We then installed the CleanSpace® system, fully encapsulating the area to block out ground moisture. CleanSpace™ Drainage Matting was laid beneath the liner to direct any water efficiently toward the drainage path. To detect and handle potential plumbing leaks, a SmartDrain™ system was added; offering peace of mind through its built-in alarm and smart drainage redirection.

For improved energy efficiency and year-round dryness, we also installed SilverGlo™ insulation along the crawl space walls.

In the “after” photo, the crawl space is completely transformed; clean, dry, and mold-free. This solution not only protects the home’s structure but also supports healthier indoor air and better energy performance.
