In Sainte-Sabine, a homeowner wrestled with a crawl space filled with moldy beams and constant moisture. At a height of just 3–4 feet, effective encapsulation was crucial. In the "before" photo, you can clearly see the signs of ongoing moisture issues contributing to mold growth and poor air quality.
To begin the transformation, our team applied Mold-X2 to treat and neutralize the mold on wood surfaces, helping restore a healthier environment. We then installed the CleanSpace® system, fully encapsulating the area to block out ground moisture. CleanSpace™ Drainage Matting was laid beneath the liner to direct any water efficiently toward the drainage path. To detect and handle potential plumbing leaks, a SmartDrain™ system was added; offering peace of mind through its built-in alarm and smart drainage redirection.
For improved energy efficiency and year-round dryness, we also installed SilverGlo™ insulation along the crawl space walls.
In the “after” photo, the crawl space is completely transformed; clean, dry, and mold-free. This solution not only protects the home’s structure but also supports healthier indoor air and better energy performance.
High humidity and a weakened beam threatened this crawl space in Saint-Jacques-Le-Majeur, with obvious signs of water damage and mold. Our team at Systèmes Sous-sol Québec tackled the problem head-on after a detailed inspection, installing our CleanSpace encapsulation system to create a durable barrier against moisture. We added the SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier and SmartDrain system to keep the space dry and healthy, ensuring effective water management and long-term protection. The “after” photo shows a transformed, clean, dry, and secure crawl space that protects the structure of the home and indoor air quality for years to come.
Mr. Robert contacted us because he needed help with moisture problems in his crawlspace. Upon arriving at the free inspection, we found that the best solution was to encapsulate his crawlspace with the CleanSpace vapor barrier. To start, our team removed the debris from the crawlspace. They then installed the drainage mat, followed by the CleanSpace vapor barrier. Finally, they installed a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier and a SmartDrain drain system to ensure good humidity and prevent flooding.
Our Company’s team of experienced technicians went to encapsulate the Crawl Space in La Petite Patrie. Our client’s house had problems of humidity causing bad smells in the residence.
The team installed a CleanSpace membrane, specifically designed to create an ultra-resistant moisture barrier, which will greatly help prevent mold growth. This product is guaranteed for 25 years and consists of a robust material with a thickness of 20 mil.
After the installation of this product, the Crawl Space has better look and the service cellar is much brighter, due to the whiteness and specifications of the membrane.
Relative humidity is one of the causes of crawl space problems for when its high mold will begin to grow, the floors will decay, and the place will be filled with insects and critters.
So in order to fix high humidly problems, we need to fix leaking groundwater and to cover the exposed earth from the floor by water vapor membranes.
By installing a sump pump system in this crawl space in Sainte-Anne-Des-Plaines, that is specially designed for crawl spaces, such as our SmartSump , we make sure that the water leaking in gets to it instead of ponding.
As for the wet walls and exposed earth, we installed the patented CleanSpace crawl space encapsulation system, which is a very heavy duty material that has an anti-microbial ingredient molded into the material to resist mold and bacteria growth.
