These homeowners in Milwaukee, WI wanted their children to have their own space to keep their toys and play together. With our EverLast Vinyl Walls, we transformed this basement into a beautiful rec room! Now, their children have a healthy and safe space they can play together and make countless memories! 

These homeowners in West Allis, WI had recently moved to Wisconsin from Minnesota so that they could be closer to their children and grandkids. They watch their grandkids quite frequently, so they wanted to finish off their basement with a fun playroom for them. The basement currently had a musty smell to it though, so they were nervous finishing it wouldn't be an option. After doing some research online and finding Buck Buckley's TBF and our moisture and mold resistant products they quickly realized that their dream could become a reality!

They set up a completely free estimate with one of our design specialists and the rest was history. They fell in love with not only the professionalism of our company but also our moisture and mold resistant products and knew they didn't want anyone else finishing their basement. Our team created this spacious playroom equipped with a half bathroom with our Vinyl EverLast Walls, ThermalDry Flooring in the color of Sandstone Gray, and Linen Ceiling Tiles. Now, these homeowner's grandkids have a space they can call their own and store all their toys for when they are over and the homeowners are able to keep their adult space upstairs! 

The basement, finished with paneling 40 years ago, presented an opportunity for a contemporary update. The removal of paneling from the walls was part of the plan, as Mrs. Julie aimed for a current and versatile basement. The redesign included a vision to create a balanced space with half dedicated to utility needs and the other half for recreational purposes.

Having faced challenges such as water issues near the former oil tank location, Mrs. Julie sought better lighting solutions to enhance the overall functionality and appeal of the basement. The redesign journey began when she had ductwork done, requiring the removal of the drop ceiling. This prompted Mrs. Julie to engage our services to explore the possibilities of a comprehensive basement refinishing.

The homeowner is embarking on a basement remodel project with a specific emphasis on restoring and enhancing the bathroom. The impetus for this project was a prior unfortunate incident where pipes broke, leading to flooding in the basement bathroom. The plumbing issues have been majorly addressed, and the homeowner is confident in the electrical setup, considering it to be in excellent shape. The focus on bathroom restoration adds a practical element to the remodel, addressing both past challenges and future needs.

They thought of moving to have more entertaining space and then they found Buck Buckley's Total Basement Finishing!  They love to hang out with family and friend and wanted a space for just that!  Now the basement is the place they always use!
