DryTrak Baseboard Drain Pipe in Newtown

When we arrived in this home, the walls were leaking water. However, due to the thick monolithic floors, installing a below-floor perimeter drain would have been very difficult. Instead, we installed the DryTrak baseboard drain pipe, after drilling weep holes to alleviate water pressure. The DryTrak captures all the water that would have seeped into the home, ensuring a dry basement!

Basement Transformation in Newtown, CT

When we arrived at this Newtown basement, it was damp and moldy. Every time it rained, water would seep into the room. We first waterproofed the space, then used our finishing products to transform it into a useable living space. We installed BrightWall wall paneling and ThermalDry flooring. In addition to providing the room with a clean, finished look, BrightWall panels keep humidity and water vapor from passing into the room. The ThermalDry tiles keep the basement floor 8 to 10 degrees warmer than the concrete beneath! The owners of this Newtown home now enjoy a bright, dry, finished basement living space!

Basement Waterproofing Job in Newtown, CT

This basement was wet and humid when our team arrived. In order to stop moisture from seeping into the room through the walls, we installed our BrightWall wall panels. BrightWall acts as a vapor barrier, keeping humidity out. Alongside the ThermalDry floor tiles, which keep the floor 8-10 degrees warmer than the concrete underneath, we transformed this basement into a dry, bright, useable space!

Wall Panels in Newtown, CT

The walls in this basement used to allow water vapor through, causing the space to become humid and moldy. We covered them with BrightWall panels, which in addition to giving the room a clean, bright look, act as a vapor barrier and prevent all water from passing through. Since the panels are mechanically gastened, they will never peel, chip or flake. The homeowners can rest easy knowing that their basement will be mold-free for years to come!

Connecticut Basement Systems in Newtown Connecticut

Antique homes are certainly beautiful but they also require serious upkeep.

In this eighteenth century house, our customers struggled to properly insulate their basement from Connecticut's cold autumn air.

That's why Connecticut Basement Systems designed a new, custom basement door to properly seal the homewoner's space. We also sprayed the basement's rim joist with insulation foam in order to protect every square inch of their basement.

Now, these customers can enjoy their antique space while staying warm, too!
