This homeowner in Springfield, MA reached out to us about her basement. She wanted her basement windows replaced - they were original to the home, and so they were over 75 years old. She wanted them replaced, as they were unattractive and not energy efficient.

We were able to help this customer! We utilized our vinyl window inserts. They have 2 panes of "Low E" glass, a high performance glass that lets visible light through while blowing most of the heat flow. They are made with a vinyl frame that will not rust, rot, or need any paint. The homeowner's basement will now look much better with more beautiful windows! 

This homeowner in Longmeadow, MA called us saying that her basement had water in it, as well as mold and musty odors. She had a sump pump, but it was not working effectively.

In order to help this customer, we first had to remove the ineffective sump pump and the pipes that were attached to it. We then set to work replacing it. We replaced it with our TripleSafe™ sump pump. This sump pump features three pumps! The first pump is a 1/3 hp, cast iron Zoeller pump that can pump up to 2200 gallons per hour, 8 feet high. Should the first pump fail or not be able to keep up with the temporary heavy flow of water, a 1/2 hp AC back-up pump on a separate discharge line can pump 3900 gallons of water per hour. If the power fails, then a third, battery operated "UltraSump" pump automatically pumps up to 12,000 gallons of water out of the basement.

Now, this homeowner will have peace of mind that she has three pumps keeping her basement dry! 

This homeowner in Longmeadow, MA stopped by our booth at a home show to talk about her basement. She and her husband wanted to eventually finish their basement. The homeowner wanted to replace the door with a more attractive one as well.

We had the perfect solution for this customer. In this solution, we installed an insulated exterior door. The proper framing is installed, followed by a new door with a locking knob. Result - warmer basement and floors over the basement, drier basement in summer, lower fuel and electric costs, less drafts, house easier to heat, more security.

This homeowner in East Longmeadow, MA called us initially asking about mold in her basement. Her child lives in the basement, and she was concerned that the child was exposed to mold. We had the perfect solution for this customer! We utilized two-part expanding spray foam. We insulated the rim joist (the perimeter of the floor framing system along the exterior of the home). We spray this foam in the rim joist and over the sill plate. Insulating the rim joist in this way seals all air leaks -- filling in the cracks and gaps that are present there. This prevents outside air from getting into the home. The homeowner is now very happy, and she is much more comfortable in her home!
