We had previously done some waterproofing in this customers basement which included an install of a SuperSump Pump with Battery Backup and a SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier. The customer reached out to us more recently because they were now ready to finish waterproofing the rest of their basement.
To complete this waterproofing system we installed a Cleanspace Vapor Barrier for any water that is intruding through the finished wall, this barrier will direct the water down to the Waterguard that was installed and then over to the SuperSump to be pumped out and away from their home.
Customer had concerns that when it rained, water was coming in through the wall, dripping down and puddling on the floor. To correct this, we installed a CleanSpace vapor barrier on the wall, Waterguard was installed along the perimeter which directs the water coming in, to our SuperSump Pump.
This basement waterproofing job required a Cleanspace Vapor Barrier, waterguard and a stairwell drain
Before reaching out to Basement Systems USA, the homeowner in Rosedale, MD faced recurring flooding issues in their basement whenever it rained. Water consistently seeped up from the floor, leaving behind puddles and a damp, musty smell that made the basement unusable. Determined to protect their home, they sought help for a permanent solution. After a thorough inspection, Basement Systems USA installed a WaterGuard perimeter drainage system and a CleanSpace wall system. WaterGuard was placed below the basement floor, capturing water as it entered and directing it away from the home’s foundation. The CleanSpace wall system, a durable vapor barrier, was installed on the walls to prevent moisture infiltration and to channel any condensation into the WaterGuard system.
Today, the basement stands dry and transformed, providing a usable, mold-resistant space for storage or future finishing. The homeowner no longer has to worry about water intrusion, thanks to the proactive waterproofing solution Basement Systems USA delivered.
This Pylesville homeowner contacted Basement Systems USA for basement waterproofing. They stated with a heavier rainfall water would come in through one wall of the unfinished basement. Currently the only waterproofing system in play was a sump pump, but a sump pump will not work if the water getting in to the basement, can not make its way over to be pumped out. Our solution to this wet problem was to install our CleanSpace Vapor barrier and Waterguard around the problematic wall. The CleanSpace and Waterguard will work together to get the water coming in through the wall, over to the SuperSump Pump we installed as well.
