The owner of this cabin in Palisade, MN wanted to stop worrying about pipes freezing underneath in the wintertime when they are not there. Looking for a solution, they reached out to DBS.
A DBS Designs Specialist went out to the cabin to conduct a free no-obligation estimate for the homeowner. After the inspection, they generated a free quote for the cabin owner for SilverGlo™ insulation panels.
A DBS Foreman led the installation of this project with help from a crew. Together they installed the SilverGlo™ panels on the vertical walls of the crawl space and air sealed the area with ZypFoam™. The panels are made of graphite-infused rigid foam insulation that will prevent frost from reaching the foundation footings.
Now that the crawl space has been properly stabilized, the cabin owner can have peace of mind without having to worry about their piped freezing in the winter.
