This customer had a partially finished basement with an attached garage that would take on water whenever there was a heavy rainfall. After waterproofing multiple properties of hers, she knew our company would get this job done and get it done right. We came out and installed Waterguard along the problematic wall as well as 3 Triple Safe Sump Pumps, SaniDry Dehumidifier, 4 Sunhouse enclosures for the basement windows and Wellducts installed below each window, that would tie into the draining system.
This Before And After will focus on one of the sump pump upgrades to our Triple Safe. As you can see the current sump pump was just an open pit with a pump, an open pit not only collects dirt and debris but will also allow odors and gases to escape from below the slab. Our Triple Safe Sump Pump comes with an airtight lid that will keep out bugs, debris, gases and quiets the noise of the pump. The Triple Safe also comes equipped with 3 pumps. We have the main pump which is a 1/3hp Zoeller pump, the second pump is a 1/2hp Zoeller that will operate when the first pump either fails, or gets overwhelmed and then the third and last pump is the battery back up pump that will turn on if and when power fails.
In Odessa, DE, a homeowner experiencing persistent water intrusion in their basement reached out to Quality 1st in search of a permanent solution. After conducting a thorough inspection, our team designed and implemented a dynamic waterproofing system tailored to the home’s specific needs.
The installation included our patented WaterGuard Drainage System to capture water at the foundation level, a TrenchDrain System to intercept surface water at key entry points, CleanSpace Wall Panels to act as a vapor barrier and enhance the basement's appearance, and our TripleSafe Sump Pump for reliable water removal, even during power outages. To further ensure protection in colder months, we added our IceGuard Discharge Line to prevent freezing-related backups.
Together, these components created a robust defense against moisture, effectively transforming the basement into a dry, healthy, and usable space the homeowner could trust for years to come!
Before transforming this Gilbertsville, PA crawlspace, the confined 18-inch-high area was dark and damp. Recognizing the need for a vapor barrier, the homeowner contacted us for assistance. As illustrated in the after photo, we have thoroughly revitalized the space using our CleanSpace technology, SilverGlo insulation, and SaniDry Sedona to enhance moisture control and energy efficiency.
This customer was getting water in the basement through a wall leak. First we surrounded the walls of the basement with our CleanSpace wall system which catches any moisture or vapor from wall. Then, we installed our WaterGuard sub-flooring drainage system, which connects to the sump pump, around the perimeter of the basement. The WaterGuard is designed to capture wall and floor leakage that then would flow down to the sump pump.
This homeowner in West Chester, PA was looking into potentially encapsulating the area and fixing the cold drafts that crept into the home. The team went into the space to remove as much loose debris and dirt from the floor as possible. We then laid our CleanSpace Vapor Barrier around the contracted walls that will capture any water leakage seeping in through the foundation. Lastly, to insulate the walls, we installed our SilverGlo insulated wall panels that are efficient graphite-impregnated barriers, which have a built-in heat barrier that will fully enclose the crawl space.
