In West Chester, PA, a homeowner was becoming increasingly frustrated with persistent water seepage in their basement, which had caused damp conditions and raised concerns about potential long-term damage, including mold growth and foundation issues. Seeking a permanent solution, they reached out to Quality 1st, and our team quickly responded with a comprehensive plan to resolve the moisture problem.
We installed our patented WaterGuard Drainage System around the perimeter to effectively manage water flow, along with CleanSpace Wall Panels to create a moisture-resistant barrier. To ensure reliable water removal, we added our TripleSafe Sump Pump, providing three levels of protection, and completed the solution with our IceGuard Discharge Line to prevent freezing during colder months.
With these advanced waterproofing solutions in place, we successfully eliminated the moisture issues, transforming the basement into a dry, healthy environment free from further water intrusion!
This was a long-time customer of ours; we had previously done some minor waterproofing in the basement and crawl space as well. This project was for window replacements. We came out and replaced 3 basement windows with our EverLast slider windows.
This basement was currently unfinished with an uneven cracked concrete floor and painted concrete walls that were peeling due to moisture. For the Finishing portion of this job, we first had to repair and level out the concrete floor so we could place down Natural Oak, MillCreek Flooring. We made a half wall for the staircase and made a closet to hide the oil tank. The materials used to create the half wall, closet, and full walls were none other than our Zen Wall Panels. We also painted the ceiling, installed lighting and replaced 4 old basement windows with brand new EverLast windows.
This customer already had a walk out basement along with an egress window,so an emergency exit was not needed, but, the current egress was extremely old and was allowing water to seep in to the basement.
We came out and tore out the the wood around the egress, we then did a digout to fit the large 72" Egress Rockwell and included a Rockwell Cover. We also replaced one of the old small basement windows with our EverLast Basement Window and installed 2 Sunhouse wells with Sunhouse covers.
This homeowner was interested in a crawlspace encapsulation and reached out to us to get the job done. This crawlspace had a dirt floor and issues with dampness. The customer was primarily concerned about mold becoming an issue. We started this job by removing the old insulation and replacing it with SilverGlo insulated wall panels. These panels are made with completely inorganic materials, and will not absorb moisture or support the growth of mold, rot, or mildew. Next, we installed Cleanspace Drainage Matting and our Cleanspace Liner. These products are designed to work together to transform a “problem” crawl space into a clean, dry, energy-efficient space.
