Property manager of this Lancaster PA rental home contacted Basement Systems to assess the issue of "bubbling paint" and "Musty smell" coming from the basement. When our inspector Chris Cooke went out to this property, seeing that there could be no leaking pipes, it was determined that ground water had been leaking in to this basement and when that is left unattended, mold can start to grow and cause that musty smell. 

Basement Systems came out and did a spotted MoldX2 treatment and installed our CleanSpace Vapor Barrier on all 4 foundation walls. CleanSpace not only stops water from penetrating the walls, but it is also a quick, economical way to cover up, not so pretty basement walls.

This customer wanted to sell their home but needed to get it waterproofed first. We removed moldy paneling and replaced the inadequate sump with a SuperSump. This customer had a finished basement and started to notice cracks along the drywall, concerned this could be a major issue, they reached out to us to assess. 

When arriving at the property, the drywall had already been removed and you could see a noticeable horizontal crack going through the foundation wall. Our solution for this was our Carbon Armor Wall Stabilization Straps.
