Before and after we installed our TripleSafe sump pump system.
This homeowner’s old sump pump system was a complete disaster. It was allowing water to leak out everywhere, and pool onto the basement floor. That’s when The Basement Transformer answered the call to come and help. We gave this homeowner our state of the art, TripleSafe Sump Pump System. It is designed to discharge thousands of gallons of water out and away from a home, so that a wet basement is no longer a concern. This sump pump system features both a primary and secondary pump, along with an UltraSump battery-powered back up pump in case of failure or a power outage occurs.
The primary pump is a Zoeller 1/3 horsepower sump pump that can discharge up to 2,200 gallons of water, while the secondary pump can get rid of up to 3,900 additional gallons of water. When fully charged, the battery powered back up pump can pump out 11,500 gallons of water or more!
With our TripleSafe Sump Pump System installed, this homeowner became fully equipped with 3 levels of protection against flooding and achieved having a dry basement.
A homeowner in Ulster Park, NY needed us to help them prevent flooding from occurring in their basement. There was a doorway that led into their basement, and it was the perfect entryway for water to just waltz right in. To combat this issue, our production crew installed the TrenchDrain Grated Drain Pipe system. It is half a drainage pipe that features a grated opening right on top, which sits flush with the floor. It is meant for doorways such as the one found in this basement, and it works by collecting any water that passes over the drain and redirects it into your sump pump system. The lid is also removable, making it super convenient for removing any debris that may get inside and clog the system. Once our TrenchDain system was in place, this homeowner knew the possibility of their doorway allowing water to come into the basement would be eliminated.
