This homeowner contacted us because they had water issues in their basement that they wanted to address before moving. This person was getting ready to sell their home but did not want to leave the future owner with future problems. That’s when our crew at The Basement Transformer stepped in to make things right. To help get this house water free we had to install our TripleSafe Sump Pump System. There was water coming up through the middle and the perimeter of the porous concrete floor, but thanks to the TripleSafe that nightmare would end. This impressive and one-of-a-kind system is capable of discharging thousands of gallons of water thanks to its cast-iron Zoller horsepower sump pumps. The primary pump set at 1/3 horsepower can discharge up to 2,200 gallons of water, while the secondary pump set at ½ horsepower can discharge up to 3,900 additional gallons. If you experience sump pump failure or a power outage, the UltraSump battery backup sump pump will stop a flood in its tracks. When set at the highest level, this device can discharge up to 11,500 gallons or more of water! We made sure to install the entire system in this homeowner’s basement to prevent water from entering and damaging the area. The concrete floor was also restored after the installation of the sump pump was complete. Once our crew was done, the homeowner knew they could move and sell their home with no issues.

A homeowner in Congers, NY needed an IceGuard Discharge Line System installed along with their SuperSump Pump System. The sump pump discharge lines are fed to the outside of the home, making them vulnerable to the possibility of freezing during the winter months. If the discharge line gets clogged due to freezing, the sump pump will not be able to function properly and can’t remove any water that may get into your basement. That problem is solved by using the IceGuard Discharge Line System. It fits over the top of the discharge line for the sump pump, and provides a secondary route for the water to escape if the line freezes. It will direct all the water away from your home and it’s compatible with all our sump pump systems! This product provides an extra layer of protection against any flooding, especially if you live somewhere cold.
There were multiple cracks in the basement walls in a homeowner’s basement in Poughkeepsie, NY. The owner of the house wanted to make sure this issue was addressed and that it would not get worse over time. If let unrepaired, the cracks can slowly let water trickle into your basement which can lead to flooding. We installed our trustworthy FlexiSpan product to repair the cracks and seal them off for good. This product is made from polyurethane and has the ability to move along with the natural movement of your foundation walls. It will never crack or fall apart, and most importantly it keeps the water out of your home. When the job was completed, this homeowner was happy that the cracks in their basement walls had been taken care of.
A basement in Hyde Park, NY was having water some issues. Water was coming in through the corners of the porous concrete walls and leaking onto the floor, making it wet and damp. Our team knew exactly what to do to prevent the water from ever intruding again. We installed our WaterGuard Drainage System and our SuperSump Premier Sump Pump System to keep the water out. Both products work hand in hand, as the WaterGuard collects any water seeping in through the walls and directs it to the SuperSump. The SuperSump pump is designed to keep the basement dry, even during times of heavy rain. It features a 1/3 horsepower pump capable of discharging 2,200 gallons of water out of the home. This sump pump was a great option for this homeowner who was having less severe water intrusion but still needed a way to keep the basement dry.
