Our client in Lac-Beauport had water infiltration problems in his basement that caused lots of humidity problems in the area. And he thought that by using a household dehumidifier, and fan humidity will be decreased.

Sadly his problem was never solved until he contacted our company for a free inspection. 

Following that, our Forman Alexis David installed an interior French drain, the Waterguard that collects the water seeping inside the walls. In addition, a SmartSump pump, that provides all the protection needed from leaks and floods.

Our client was very happy since our company fixed his problems permanently, and he did not have to worry about any water infiltration problems or humidity in his basement again.

At the beginning, the basement showed clear signs of water-related deterioration: constant humidity, water infiltration at the base of the foundation walls, condensation, persistent odors, and visible water marks on the concrete. The space had no groundwater management system, which led to moisture accumulation and accelerated surface deterioration as well as a decline in indoor air quality.

To address the issue, a complete waterproofing intervention was carried out with the installation of a WaterGuard interior drainage system designed to capture water at the base of the walls and efficiently redirect it to a collection point. A SuperSump sump pump was also integrated to ensure continuous removal of groundwater, significantly reducing the risk of water buildup. The system was completed with a CleanSpace encapsulation, acting as a barrier against water vapor, humidity, and lateral moisture intrusion.

In the end, the basement was fully restored in terms of water management and foundation protection, now providing a much more stable, controlled environment ready for use without the constraints of chronic moisture issues.
