In June 2020 a couple in Kenmore, NY called TBF of WNY as they wanted to create a comfortable living space in their basement. It had become a catch-all space for everything from a drum kit to a spare bed, and they really wanted to make a comfortable living room area that they could enjoy.  Their basement had a lot of potential as it already had a bathroom installed, and there was plenty of space to separate a utility room, a laundry area, the bathroom, and a living room area.  

Our EverLast Wall Panels created new, separate rooms in the basement space and let the couple have the dedicated living room area that they really wanted. Our ThermalDry Elite Plank Flooring was installed to create a bright and easy to clean floor that is extraodinary compared to a cement floor. The ThermalDry Elite Plank Flooring is designed to slightly insulate the basement floor, and is moisture resistant which is perfect for a basement setting. The couple also chose to have a SaniDry XP Air System installed, which will not only dehumidify their basement, it will also create a better air quality for the entire home.

Their basement is now a fantastic living space instead of a cluttered catchall. We hope that the couple will be able to enjoy their basement for many years to come!

Early in 2021, a couple contacted Total Basement Finishing of WNY for help with their basement. They wanted to make it into a man cave and add a new bathroom to their basement. They had already been doing some demolition on a previously finished part of it to make space for it. Our Design Specialist Pierce met with them and helped them come up with a cohesive plan for their basement. The couple decided to hold off on installing a new bathroom for now and just focus on making the man cave that the husband had been hoping for.

Our EverLast Wall Panels and a warm-colored Thermal Dry Elite Plank Flooring perfectly compliment the homeowner's sports signs. We helped him hang his television with the installation and now everything looks fantastic in the new man cave.  The bathroom walls are finished and ready for new bathroom fixtures to be installed when the couple is ready for them.

Lavera out of Buffalo, NY needed another bathroom in her home. She has a BIG family and every time people were over, the one bathroom she had got over crowded. 

We transformed her unused and unlivable area into a healthy, beautiful and maintenance free living space! 

A couple in Cheektowaga, NY approached us for help refreshing their basement. They wanted to keep it very open, but to modernize it.  We worked with them to design a space that would let them do whatever they would like to in the future, and used our fantasatic Ever-Last Wall Systems, and Mill Creek Flooring to do so. The couple wanted to keep their ceiling as it was originally, so our Mill Creek Flooring in Mahogany provided a pleasant color contrast.  And we did a wrap on the support poles that adds a very attractive element.

A woman in Tonawanda, NY contacted Total Basement Finishing of WNY to ask for help redesigning her basement into an apartment for her son who was moving back home.  She wanted to make a multiroom basement apartment with a full bathroom.

Her son helped with the design process, and let our Design Specialist know that he really wanted a seperate entrance to the basement for privacy and so that he wouldn't disturb his mother when he came and left. Our Design Specialist worked with them to encorperate an exterior doorway and stairwell into the design.

Our EverLast wall systems created clean finished walls, and divided the space so the multi room apartment idea could be brought to fruition. We painted the ceiling and added our Mill Creek Flooring to finish the look of the space.  And the bathroom looked lovely after we finished the space.

We hope that this family is enjoying their new living situation and that their basement is bringing them happy moments every day.
